1955 Dana 44

Post by TNcoupe »

Anybody know the input yoke spline count? I swapped mine to a 302 with a C4 and the C4 output yoke uses a 1310 u joint and the stock 44 input yoke is much smaller. Was looking for a 1310 input yoke for the 44 with the correct spline count.

There are combination U-joints that should get you where you need to be without having to try to find a yoke. a good driveline or differential shop should be able to help you. If you don't have one local, talk to Drive Line Service in Colorado Springs.

Is there a drive shaft maker in your area? They may be able to provide a combo u- joint that fit the 44 yoke and the driveshaft

Actually, a drive shaft guy should be able to make up a driveshaft that takes the dana u-joint and a u-joint for the C-4 yoke
