2005 colors

Post by tbird430 »

FIRST POST!! FIRST POST!!!

Does anyone on here know what the exterior color options were on the last year, 2005 T-Birds? I know Ford would drop a color each year and add another so I kind of lost track I guess on how the retro-birds "ended".

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Google is your friend, my friend. A search for 2005 Thunderbird colors gave me this link:

My wife and I stumbled across a one owner cashmere Retro Bird last March. 36,500 miles, near perfect condition. # 78 of 1500 in cashmere. We bought it for a reasonable price as local Ford dealer was desperate like most U.S. dealers were. We love the car. Now waiting to see a one owner '56 Baby Bird that has been in a container since being cosmetically restored 5 years ago. The Thunderbird addiction can be quite strong.

I've actually been pondering purchasing a car with a light sand interior and top and painting it emberglo. :)

2005 Colors

I have one and it is tempting to get it painted.
I will probably wait until it needs a paint job, though.
Good Luck!

So you created the Emberglo via photoshop or something?

I pulled that picture from another forum that's exclusive to the retrobirds.
I had a 65 Special Landau at one time and I still love that emberglo color. I thought it would look nice on one of these birds from the first time I saw a picture of one.
Supposedly, its a one-of-a-kind painted that color or Ford did the trick on the picture. I heard that the color was considered but never done.

Yep Emberglo looks fantastic on the Retrobird body.

It would be cool if the wheels incorporated some Emberglo accents like the '65 SL had on its hubcaps.
