Been a while, any suggestions on where to look for a good original 57 Bird?

I Have to assume you are well aware of the fact that more information needs to be provided if you are serious about a successful search for a car.

Please post more information as to the preferred year, location, budget, condition, options of the desired Thunderbird you are searching for.

After such a long absence, your sudden interest leads to a lot of questions. Your posts will be monitored.

Looking for original 1957 Thunderbird,no real budget, auto Matic full power.
and feel free to monitor as you wish.
I am in New Jersey,I really didn't think an absence would warrant monitoring,

Pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News. Check out 'Bring a trailer' auction. Do some leg work. We mostly have what we want so not looking to give advice on where to buy.

Take a look at the 55 56 and 57 Thunderbird Trading Post on Facebook. There’s always a few Birds there for sale. Parts as well.

There is a Facebook Group that seems to have 2 or 3 new listings for baby birds for sale every week.

The full name of that group is 55 56 57 Ford Thunderbird Little Early or Baby Birds 1955 1956 1957.

Why so long I will never know!

I agree that Bring A Trailer is an excellent source of information. The descriptions of the vehicles is very thorough and you see the sale price or highest no-sale bid. Currently their history shows the auction results for 315 of these baby birds.

Why hasn't anyone suggested that the prospective buyer of a 57 Tbird check with Tbird clubs? The Scaramento Classic Thunderbird Club, for instance, of which I am a member, advertises 55-57 Tbirds for sale in our monthly newsletter from time to time, but nothing this month. I would much rather buy a car from a club member who knows the history of his/her car and is not likely to take advantage of a newbie.

In NJ there are two very good Tbird clubs if you are interested in joining a club. New Jersey Open Road Thunderbird Club (NJORTC) of which I am a member and the Garden State Classic Thunderbird Club.

NJORTC has a web site and a Facebook page. Look us up.
