Anyone have an exploded view of how an electric moonroof operates? I will also have need of parts once I get into it, any help much appreciated. Thanks

I strongly suggest getting a reprint of the factory shop manual set (5 volumes) for 1970. While they cover all Ford-Mercury-Lincoln models, they contain a wealth of information. Don't forget to also look for 1968.5-1971 Lincoln Mark III literature as they shared the same platform, including the ASC sunroof. If memory serves me correctly, Lincoln had a separate mechanics' filmstrip/training module on the sunroofs used in Mark IIIs.

As for an operating or parts diagram, that would take some digging to come up with. I have the factory master parts catalog from '65-'72 that should have the parts diagram, but it could be some time before I can get a copy of it.

As for parts, again, if the T-bird parts houses that deal in late '60s-early '70s cars don't have what you're looking for, there are several Lincoln/Mk III parts specialists out there that may be able to help. Along the same lines, the ASC sunroofs were used in BMWs and other German imports from the period - a Google search for ASC Sunroof might yield some additional sources.
