Another Mystery Part

Got these and can't figure out what they are for. In some 57 parts. FOMOCO stamped into them.

99% sure not classic bird unless something dealer installed. AC maybe?

Uh, not exactly. In the '50s-'60s, the script inside the logo was 'FoMoCo'; what I'm seeing in the photo is the script word 'Ford', which began to be used in the 1970s or so (?). So, I suspect not an original '55-'57 part.
