Vintage Auto Garage 12v to 6v Seat and Window Motor Reducer

Has anyone installed the Vintage Auto Garage 12v to 6v Seat and Window Motor Reducer on their 55? The windows close dangerously fast after converting to 12v but retaining the 6v motors.
