"The chrome headlight eyebrows were NEVER an option on the Thunderbird".
This memory is from back in the day. I believe the first 14 Thunderbirds had them.

Re: Hood art
not 100% sure about the other 13 but George Watt’s Thunderbird 005 had them. First production Tbird.

Re: Hood art
The chrome eyebrows are from a 55 fairlane headlight doors, Those fit the baby thunderbirds. Those were never an option for the 55-57 thunderbirds.

Re: Hood art
That’s been my understanding as well. George bought the 005 car and had it restored. They could have been added then. At one time in ‘02-‘03 I had several pair in my shop. They had all come from passenger cars.

Re: Hood art
Today was a rare combination of decent weather + enough spare time to drive down to the park with my good camera (One is of the whole car, not just the hood; but I included it because I think it turned out well!)
Re: Hood art
Oh yah! that B/W photo of the scoop is classic. How many would recognize it on the spot?

Beautiful pics. Makes it harder for me to wait for ours, but also more excited. I know that when ours is finished, I am going to be thinking about these reflections every time I drive the car.
