Fitting Reversed Rims up front

Hi All,

Does anyone have any insight on how to fit reversed offset rims on a 63 Thunderbird.
Have some 14x7 Astro Supremes but they stick out a long way with the stock suspension set up.

Have seen quite a few pictures around of the reversed wheels being fit up, so I know it can be done....somehow

I'm no expert but I think an air suspension would be the answer....btw looking at the picture tells me that's how it was combined with the reversed rims..
