what would be the current T-bird?

Just as a point of discussion, I'd like to pose a question to the members. Which of all the cars currently on the market would you consider most closely resembles the Thunderbird in price, equipment, and market position?

I'm purposely not narrowing it down to one model or generation of Thunderbird--let's leave that freeform. So you can cast a wide net, but be prepared to explain your answer.

What? Nobody wants to expend wholly unreasonable amounts of time and energy arguing useless car trivia here?! This board is not like other car boards I've been on! Or has everybody used up all their time & energy arguing about the election?

Not sure if I understand your question.
Most, if not all, of us are not knowledgeable on current automobiles.
