To all the CDN members and your next issue of the Scoop.
It would appear that the SCOOP is in NEVER NEVER LAND and lost in transit from the printers.
With this Pandemic, the world has stopped on its axis. The copies were sent as of 2 weeks ago, but got lost in the system, and UPS does not know which Depot has them. A search is on but no comment or info is available. Last update I have is that they were to be delivered on June 8th, or 10 days ago.

To all CAN members, I have worked towards getting and answer and resolutions of when the 2 week delayed SCOOPS will arrive.
They are lost in the system.
Will work to resolve in future.

Have not received my copy yet...am sure the issue will get resolved.

Abaucom, a little hard for you to receive the SCOOPS if I have not received them in the first place. Being the Canadian Postal Agent, I process them then send them on.

BTW as of 20 minutes ago, I just finished putting them in the Post. They arrived in my hands YESTERDAY afternoon, after being lost for over 3 weeks by UPS. This pandemic is causing all kinds of delays.

Good to hear, and it moved quick. The system works. It only took about 5 days to travel from Toronto to Ottawa.

Trying to locate an article I wrote in the July-August 1996 Thunderbird Scoop. It was about my 1964 Thunderbird. Any idea how I can retrieve that article.

Have the July/August, US SCOOPS been sent out yet. Still haven't received mine.

The July/August Scoops should have gone out as of 8-10 weeks ago. I just mailed out the Sept/October Scoops as of Tuesday August the 11th for the Canadian members.
Best to contact Rod Wake for a replacement. NOTE I do not think he attends the Forum, so you will have to contact him thru the web site presented in the SCOOP.
I have no control or dealings with the U.S. mailings, they are handled thru Rod to my knowledge.

If you have not heard or recvd your missing Scoop in the near future, from Rod, let me know, and I will mail you a copy from my few extras I have.
I will help in any way I can.

FYI, received my Sept./Oct. Scoop issue early this last week in Ottawa, ON. Thanks for all your effort. Typical for standard US mail to take 7-10 days to be delivered in Canada, packages from the US, 10-14 days. Yes, there has been a slight slowdown of mail delivery on both sides of the border...the new normal. I do appreciate you taking the time to post mailing dates.

As of today at 3.00 pm, the CANADIAN Nov/Dec 2020 SCOOPS were mailed out from my location in Southern Ontario.
Based on information provided by the CDN Postal service, the timing to see delivery will be approx 3-5 days.

This mailing is very important, from the point it is time to renew your membership with the VTCI. The renewal envelopes are included with the SCOOP.. To remain getting your bi-monthly SCOOP, and in a timely fashion, you need to renew before January 1st. If you fail to renew, you may not get your Jan/Feb 2021 edition.

Please renew to prevent a possible interruption.
