I need to buy 2 wheels (15" x 6"). Does anyone know of a source for these?

Hi, I don't know what you have in mind, but 1956 bird wheels are 15x5.With 6" you will have skirt clearance problem and ball joint clearance. These wheels are hard to find. Hill's Thunderbird has some (not cheap). good luck

Kelsey Hayes made the wheels for the '56. Be sure to look for the letters K-H stamped near the lug holes to make sure you have OEM wheels not reproductions. I have seen full sets offered on eBay. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. My basket case came with 3 wheels that are 6" wide and 1 that's 6.5 " wide. These measurements are to the outside flanges. Is that how their measured, or should it be to the inside?

I just noticed that carfolio.com shows the original wheel size as 6.5 x 15.

Wheels are measured to the inside of the flange where the tire bead seats
