Thanks!
I grew up on a farm in Ohio and still want an 8N with a Funk conversion!!!
It would be so much more fun in my subdivision than all the golf carts!

Re: Picture posting
Let's try this. Very small file. Doesn't like pics taken by my phone - too large file size.

That's a lot of red with the hood and fenders. No pics of my '44 2N "redbelly" handy on my phone.55Greg&Amy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 3:25 pm Here’s my 1950 8N Bob

Enjoyable Ford tractor pictures. The "Henry Ford Dreams Club" which I am a director of, who maintain a reclaimed 1920 circa Ford Garage at our local Country Heritage Farm Museum. Within the Garage we have a Model T, Model A, Model M units, along with 8N and 9N tractors.
A few members also run around the Park on their 8 or 9 units pulling wagons.

Re: Picture posting
This is what really got me started in restoration work, and it's still a work in progress - a 2N built in June 1944 that was about 10 years old when my grandfather bought it to replace the draft horses he, my uncle and father were using on a 40-acre farm they had purchased a couple of years after arriving from Germany. A real game-changer for them. After my grandfather passed away 61 years ago it was still used to work the home 40 until my grandmother sold the farm and got remarried. The Ford came to our house and was put to work plowing the garden and blading the gravel parking lot of the four-plexes we rented out. It sat outside off and on for a lot of years - I started to clean it up while in high school, buying parts and eventually rebuilding the engine when I wasn't working as an apprentice carpenter in the early '80s, but my sister-in-law punched out the radiator/grille shortly after we finished the engine, and it sat for over 20 years before being pushed into the garage once my father sold his old pickup. Right now my cousin's husband (pictured) and son are going through it mechanically (they specialize in vintage tractor work), and hopefully it will soon occupy a spot in the shop where the 'Birds, my '40 Ford and '55 Victoria currently sit (well, after I get the 'Bird parts stash organized). I actually have a long-time VTCA/VTCI member in Houston to thank for a set of original headlight assemblies, "wings" and other missing parts that will go on it.

Re: Picture posting
Eventually I’ll get the colors right. I just picked this up a few months ago from the original purchasers son, been in the family since new. The son gave EVERYTHING a fresh coat of red paint. From what he told me, it was always kept inside and it looks as if it was. I use it primarily for mowing and have been repairing and replacing mechanical parts for now.

Re: Picture posting
I never tried to attach pictures here with my phone, but have had issues sending them in texts when large. I found a free app "Send Reduced" that has worked well the few times I've needed to use it!
