I just purchased a 1965 Landau that has a chrome body side moldings from the front fenders to the rear bumper. I was told that this was a dealer option. Can anyone confirm this information?

Wayne, it looks to me like there was an optional side chrome package for the 1965 Landau. I went to: automotivemileposts.com/tbird1965optionalequipment.html and found a listing of all the optional stuff. Try looking at this interesting site and link your way to the thunderbird info you are trying to find out.

Wayne: That body side moulding is not chrome.... It is stainless steel.
