compression test on my 57

I had a Ford dealer do a compression test for me; they did not do a supplemental test with oil. Numbers were 140, 140, 140, 145, 145, 140, 130, 150. I am going to have the leaking AT transmission rebuilt. When they pull the engine, I think I will have them pull the crank and replace the leaking rear main seal. Is the cylinder variation enough to warrant going into the upper engine? Any ballpark estimates on AT rebuild and engine repair/rebuild?
