Something that you may find useful for making posts that contain more illustration is screen capture software. This allows you capture an entire window or a region of a window. You can then use the built in illustrator to draw or add text to your capture. The best free capture software I have found is called Greenstone Capture and can be downloaded here. http://sourceforge.net/projects/greensh ... t/download
Give it a try. It is rather fun to play with and is useful for grabbing illustrations from the web, pdf documents, scans, wiring diagrams or anything you can think of.
