Greetings all, This is my first post.
I have been searching the forum for the best way to put a dual master cylinder on my 66 bird a/k/a "GROOVYBIRD." :) I'm not planning to change out the booster. I purchased a 67 mustang unit, but I'm not sure about doing all the needed modifications to brace/lines. I have seen references to a unit from Bob's Birdhouse, but they are out of business. Has anyone actually identified what the Bob's unit actually is? I would be very happy to know!
Can anyone ID the dual master cylinder from Bob's?

Can't remember exactly but I think it looked something like this.

I couldn't bring myself to put a bright white plastic unit under my hood.
The 69 mustang unit fits perfectly and has the correct size piston - which is critical.

ABS Power Brake makes a dual master, check it out. I think it will work with the stock booster.

i believe this was it. it is available as part# c5zz-2140-alum. it is 7/8" bore for drum brakes and the connection is on the passenger side.
The billet master cylinder is 1" bore for disc/drum or all disc conversion. it also connects on the passenger side.

I wonder if they have an option of what side the lines exit on? Either one of those might be difficult to plumb since the lines exit to the right instead of the left like the 69 Mustang OEM MC. That may or may not be an issue depending on your clearance.
With my valve covers, they would never work. WIth stock VC's they might work but removal of the VC's afterward would be hard or impossible without moving the MC out of the way.
Either way, it would sure be nice to use an aluminum MC!

the one on the top is exactly what i had bought from bobs although it does not have that 7/8 inch casting on the side.lines are on the inboard side.
