77-79 Blower Motor Removal?

Post by 7879Tbird »

After squeezing my 200# under the dash, I see one nut (near the firewall) and no other fasteners allowing access to the blower motor. And that one nut didn't do the job.

Anyone have any insight on how to access/remove the blower motor?

Thanks.

Been a couple of years since I replaced my unit with a new one; but there is one nut under the hood on the passenger side that sticks out of the firewall, down from the edge of the firewall bout 6 inches; just back of the electrical plug. Easy to spot.

I think there might be a total of three nuts to remove. Best wishes! You will get it. Don't give up!
