1966 REPAINT

I HAVE A1966 thunderbird that is currently in the shop. It has been stripped and is in the process of being painted. I have one question- Do I go back to orig-Sauterne gold /Sage green or would I do harm by choosing a different color. The seats are parchment- dash is black and dark olive green .......HELP! HELP!
