PVS Vacuum Hose Routing on 78 Thunderbird

Can anyone tell me where the top and bottom vacuum hoses on a PVS (ported vacuum switch) connect to? This particular PVS is located directly on top of the thermostat housing on a 351Modified 5.8L engine. The top hose is black with a green stripe while the bottom hose is black with a yellow stripe. I have a 78 w/ 400 ci and the vaccum advance hose ties into the top line at the the valve and both hoses go to the cold choke function as part of the anti-polution control. Does this help? :?:

Thanks Spanky for your info--it does narrow things down. Can you now tell me exactly what parts each hose connects to in relation to the cold choke function? Do they both connect to the carburetor body or directly to the choke or what?
