My son goes to a small private school here in Austin for kids who have learning disabilities. Last year, one of the parents donated a 1958 Cadillac to be raffled off to support the school, and this year the same parent donated a 1962 T-Bird.
It is black with red interior, 66k original miles, AC, automatic, 390 V8. Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100 and can be purchased online thru donate.net.
Only 3000 tickets are available. Last year for the Caddy, only 1500 were sold so we are hoping to exceed that number this year.
Drawing is on April 8, 2006 at an event here in Austin (location TBD, last year it was at Antones and the winning ticket was drawn by Grammy winner Pine-Top Perkins).
