Next Generation 2012

Post by 60fore »

Hmmm I haven't heard that rumor Mach but I hope it's true. It would be sweet if they put the twin-turbo V-6 from the Taurus SHO in it!
Currently Birdless....we'll see how long that lasts!

Past Birds: 1962 Hardtop Corinthian White "The Survivor"
1964 Hardtop Gunmetal Gray "60Fore"
1986 Turbo Coupe Regatta Blue

'12 'Bird?

Post by Alan H. Tast »

Note initial posting date of March '08 - If after all that has happened in the past 18+ months hasn't stalled or killed the project, especially with the current political climate, we may luck out yet. My wager is that if it did (or does) survive and come to fruition it probably will not be retro but hopefully very contemporary with some semblance of styling.

Terri, how about moving this to a new general thread?

Alan,
discussion has been moved.... AND I agree, hopefully it isn't another attempt at a Retro Bird but a whole new design!! And, as you say, with some semblance of styling.
