hello all,
Since the last time I posted I was able to repair all my lights on my 66 tbird but with the exception of the turn signals. I have done a diagnostic test and discovered that the power wire (Orange-Yellow) is not getting any power. I hooked up my 11.5 volt power supply to the orange and yellow and when I selected a turn on the lever, it worked! Now with that said, do you have any tips to fix that orange-yellow wire to supply power. I have looked over my schematics pages and it goes right to the fuse box. My service manual does not list what fuse is the turn signal fuse but I know it is a 15 amp fuse. If anyone could assist with this I would appreciate it.
Thank you

Re: Turn Signal fuse location
It's not a fuse, it's a 15 amp circuit breaker located top right of fuse box. Someone converted mine to a fuse long time ago.

This circuit breaker and the others for the fuse box are a "mini-breaker"going to an auto parts store from what I experienced will not get you one to fit inside the fuse box, even some of the Thunderbird specialty shops do not have them, I did find one I believe at CJ Pony, I may be wrong. This hard to find breaker, may be the reason David's was changed to a fuse. Mine is a 66. I do not know if the 64-65 have the same. Maybe Allen or other owners know where to get these breakers.
Re: Turn Signal fuse location
Kentucky Mustang Automotive carries a 20 amp breaker that fits into the fuse box on a 66. 64/65 I don't know if the fuse box is the same, The 66 takes four breakers, two 20 amp., one 15 amp., and a 10 amp. The stoplights on the 66 is a 15 amp., possibly one could substitute a 20 amp there without causing a fire, this I'm not sure of. A bus bar is used between the 20amp./15amp. and 10 amp., if one has a need for the 10 amp., which is used for the top control neutral switch.
