1967 Tbird interior paint codes/colors

I have been looking for the interior paint code to repaint my gauge bezels and I can't seem to find a definite answer on the color. Can anyone help with this?

My trim code is 2B and my exterior paint code is K build date was early 67 January and February to be exact. My bezels seem to be a dark blue metalic but they don't seem to be the same nightmist blue as the exterior. Any advice here?

There was a light blue and a dark blue metallic used on painted interior parts. The '2B' dark blue metallic interior color used Ford M1J-1847 for dark blue according to literature that I have, which includes paint chip charts from duPont and PPG-Ditzler: in 1968 the numbers were modified with a suffix to indicate if the paint was flat or semi-gloss - M1J-1847J for flat dark blue metallic, M1J-1847G for semi-gloss metallic. The same color number was used 1966 through 1971.

A cross with major manufacturers (Ditzler, Sherwin Williams, duPont, Rinshed-Mason, Martin-Seynour, etc.) from period catalogs/paint chip charts at your local auto body paint jobber should turn something up, provided they have books and charts that go back that far. duPont listed 9152LH - Dark Blue Metallic Semi-Gloss for 1966 Mercury, Lincoln and T-bird, 1967 and 1968 Ford, Mercury, Lincoln and T-birds.

You may want to consider taking one of the painted interior parts in to an automotive paint store and have it scanned for a color match. Or see if one of the 58-66 Tbird or 60s Lincoln parts houses have the dark blue interior paint for 66 Tbirds and Lincoln as it's the same color.
