replacing dome light bulbs and map light?

I have a question, when i open the door, my map lights dont come on, but When i use the switches, they do. I would like to replace these bulbs with can bus friendly led lights, but im not sure how to access the bulbs for replacement. Thanks guys!

First off I'm kinda dumb when it comes to '02-'05 Birds, other than what engine and tranny it has and maybe a couple colors it comes in, so I can't help on how to get at your bulbs But when you said that when you open the door, the lights don't come on but work with the switch, IF that happened to me on my '95, I'd be thinking door jam switch, the next time you open the door and the lights don't come on, kneel down and get your thumb or finger on that door jam button, and push it several times rapidly and see what happens..........Just a thought.............

Don't have my '04 any longer but nagging at me is the 'light on at door opening' was a preference setting with a switch at top of window frame???
