Wheel Cover Rattle

I have a rattle coming from my right rear wheel. It's been traced to the center medallion in the hub cap ('66 with standard wheel covers). Has anyone else experienced hub cap rattle? If so, how did you solve the problem? I wasn't sure how much I could bend the clips on the medallion without breaking them.

I'm so jealous that the rest of your car is so quiet that the rattle of a hub cap is noticeable :)

A little bit of butyl rubber on the back side should fix it.
