Hello. I'm new to this forum and this is my first post/question.
I have two issues with the turn signals on my 1979 T-top Thunderbird.
1. When the lights are on, the REAR turn signals/flashers blink on to bright and then completely off. The taillight function does not work when turn signals are activated. They revert back to normal taillights when turn signals are shut off. This happens with both incandescent and LED bulbs, which are the correct 1157 bulbs. They work perfectly fine with the lights off.
2. When the lights are on, the FRONT turn signals flash as they should with incandescent bulbs. However, if I put the correct size 1156 LED bulb in, nothing at all happens...but the rears flash as stated above.
Does anyone have any ideas why these are happening?
Thank you in advance...
