I just found out recently that a Motorcraft fuel pressure regulator for my 4.6L Bird does not exist anymore while trying to locate one.
I started to develop a no start situation twice about a month ago, that's when I found out about the absence of Motorcraft fuel pressure reg's....Wow, Ford put that very regulator on just about every model car AND truck from 1994-99, but now they are gone, SAD DAY for all concerned......The choices for me was thin, I would never put a bankrupt Delphi part on my Bird, and I've never had any faith in Standard Motor parts, so that only left me with a Walker regulator, which I just installed yesterday, and I also replaced the fuel filter while I had the system bleed down, OH let me mention, on the fuel filter, only '91-'97 T-Bird,Cougar and '93-'98 Mark VIII use that filter BUT I can get that in Motorcraft form all day long, thank God on that one !!
