elect switch removal
I have a 63 hardtop and I need to remove the elect window switch on the rear right side . Can you remove the switch without removing the back seat and the rear panel? And if so how does it come off? Thanks
Re: elect switch removal
G'day.
From memory I think you have to remove the panel. All that holds the switch in is a couple of tabs on the switch that is bent over.
If you were to pry it out it probably would bend the tabs and allow the switch to come out but then you never would be able to get the switch back in and bend the tabs over again. You would probably scratch the finish on the panel beyond repair as well.
