brake replacement

Post by emo666 »

Have a 1965 that has a malfunctioning proportioning valve ---want to replace master cylinder and attached proportioning valve . I know this been discussed many times but I need to be refreshed. Have had the Kelsey Hayes proportioning valve rebuilt once--don't trust anymore .

Where do I get the correct dual compartment master cylinder that fits under the cross brace and attached proportioning valve

Getting a new MC, if it has bottom instead of side mounts for the lines, big help as space is limited, because of the shock tower, what ever MC you get, do not alter the shock tower, banging or cutting to make the MC fit.

Willwood has a similar proportioning valve and can probably supply an MC also.
