you can't save them all

Post by redstangbob »

I was updating the info on my 65 in John Rotella's registry, and then I updated the two squarebirds I just bought. Then I remembered a local junk yard had advertised a 65 convertible on Facebook so I made the trip over there. This bird will never fly again I'm afraid, the frame is just about gone in the rockers. I probably should have bought the sun visors, most everything else is bad.

Late production car - Prairie Bronze (?) with Palomino interior. IIRC Dan Likar had one with that combination in the '80s and was a good color combo.

There sure is a few good parts left, how many miles on it?

This one has gone to the crusher, I gathered some hard to find parts before its demise entirely.

I would be a service to Alan and VTCI if you were to collect the Data plates before these cars disappear forever.

Thanks for the plug - I've been collecting this info for nearly 40 years now and still only have a fraction of what was actually produced. Every little bit of information helps, whether the car's living or dead.
