Bloomington Rendezvous

Post by Randy Mattson »

Does anyone know if this event is happening and where I can find registration forms?
I think it normally is the end of September or first part of October.
Thank you.

Sorry Randy no info to help, but hope it goes forward. We ALL need a break to regroup and get out in fresh air. Sadly due to the Pandemic and other rules created I will not even be able to attend the Nats in Portland. The rules currently, is a test before I travel, another test at the border then possibly a 3 day stay at a Government controled site then the balance of 14 days at my residence.
Tall order to fill at my expence

Things are beginning to loosen up on this side of the border. The church and restaurants now have no limit on capacity, masks are not required anymore and even the MN State Fair is on this year.

Not so good here. Currently still on lockdown, with words of opening partly.
Conditions of no groups bigger than 5
No border crossings unless essential service.Incoming flghts are OK with condition of a Covid test before boarding at flyers cost. Upon arrival another Covid test and 3 days lock up at a Government hotel at a cost of 2-3000.00. Then another 11 days of house arrest, till the combined days total 14.
Conditions are fluid and changing daily. What I said today could be different tomorrow.

The US/Canada border not to reopen in roughly July, and can be increased going forward.

As of 5.00 pm today in Toronto and time line provincial area,, the Inbound restriction is now a 5K fine to skip the 3 day Quarantine when you enter Canada.

FYI the game plan is changing. I await the final results.

Time will tell, but presently NO CROSS BORDER TRAVEL.

Sad currently, it appears I am forced to not attend the VTCI NATS in Portland.

DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH!
They use the term of opening the border, but quietly force you to need TWO needles of proof, plus a possible 3 day lock and hold if not to the crossing border guard, approval, PLUS A Covid test at your cost, within 72 hours of coming to the border or returning.
The border is possibly open with these conditions being met.
At my age, I am still trying to get my second shot, SO I am not a candidate to cross!!!
