Squarebird in Beverly Hillbillies pilot episode

This has been posted on YouTube. Part of the introduction involves the fancy cars of Beverly Hills and who drives them.

The camera shows a Cadillac as the narrator says, "Movie stars," a Rolls Royce with "Royalty in exile," a suicide-door Lincoln for "retired millionaires," and then finally a Tbird driven by "sportsmen." The 'Bird shows up about 17 seconds in.

This clearly shows Mercedes was not on anybody's mind at the time. I'm surprised they didn't work in an Imperial, though--particularly ironic because Chrysler furnished cars for the show for years.
