Just found your other post so I see it’s a 71. I just purchased a 71 driver side mirror assy to use on my 70 as it matches my passenger side. I used car-part.com, you can search junk yards all thru the country. Everyone I contacted thru eBay they were already gone.

Just received my drivers side 71 mirror. It appears at the moment to be a match to my passenger side. I will see in the next day or so if I get a chance to swap it. If for some reason it isn’t the same I will let you know and if you haven’t found one I would offer it to you first, it has the remote adjustment.

Well mirror is on and a pretty decent match to the pass side which is good as my original was only being held in place by one stud. I have a mirror head here from a 72 and it looks just like it, it’s my guess that a pair of later mirrors may work, the only issue would be making certain of the mounting piece. The 71 does have a slightly different base than the 70 but the gasket makes it non noticeable.

I’ll update when I hear more as I would prefer a matched set for 70 on my 70 also.
