For the 1956 model year I have 5,294 Thunderbirds in my database. Of these 400 are the "M" code. This comes to approximately 9.25%

Thanks David, thought it may be you with an answer! I get 7.6% when I divide 400 by 5,294, could it have been 490 M codes?David Tulowitzky wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 3:59 am For the 1956 model year I have 5,294 Thunderbirds in my database. Also, all M Codes built w/ standard 3 speed trans (no O/D)?

You are correct, I thought the 9.25 % sounded high. Yes all "M" codes were 3 speed no overdrive.

Speaking of Data Base— If I send you or who- my soon to purchase ‘56 Vin # can I find out a history of owners of this TBird? Or is there a Title search history I can go through at Department of Motor Vehicles somewhere? JG
