Hi
Id like to carry a full size spare in the trunk of my 56 for my trip from NY to Sarasota in May. I understand the wheel size is 15-5 with a bolt pattern of 5-4.5. Can anyone fill me in on the offset and backspacing measurements? Can spacers be used if I can’t get those exact dimensions? Any recommendations for where to buy.
Thanks as always.
Jere

Re: Spare wheel
I found aluminum space saver tire,on eBay. Less weight. The person I bought it from, said it came from a Lincoln. You might look for something like that.
Re: Spare wheel
I carry a spare tire"Donut" in my trunk for a tire change if needed, The P O had this in the trunk when I bought the car. I think he said it was from a Ford Taurus.

Do you know what year the Taurus was?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Spare wheel
Sorry I didn't ask the year. I would have to call and ask.

We have a 2005 Ford 500 and it uses the same donut. The 500 is the successor to the original Taurus.
