Vinyl Top

I recently bought a 77. I've had two 79's in the past, so I know them well. This car is in excellent shape considering the others I've had and harsh winters here in Wisconsin. Only I few things need fixing up, and the main is the vinyl on top. Front section is still all good. Rear section is tear free, but has become wrinkled on some edges. Like the glue let loose, vinyl shrank, then the glue reset. I'd like to know the best way to smooth it back down without buying new. This car was garage kept with a cover on it, so there's no sun damage at all. I've never come across this issue before, and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
