Mine does not like me at all right now or it would cooperate more often. Its the epitome of what happens when you neglect routine maintenance for 61 years.

My '65 convertible is called "Leaky" for obvious reasons.
I've owned it since July, 1989. You name the fluid, it has leaked at one time or another.
Currently, the only leak now is from rain when it's moving...kow.

Jenny Marie. After my wife when she let me get it over a trade, instead of taking a cash offer. I owe that much to her.

With a 428 engine and a aeranautical theme I call it "Flight 428"
A 66 Thunderbird is cool. A Sapphire Blue 66 is a beautiful car. The 428 engine completes the package.

I know a lot of people give their cars a name, but I don't think much of naming a car. When I refer to my cars, it's either the green one, the white one, the Tbird or the 48. Or sometimes, just the year of the car (the Tbird excepted as it's always the Tbird)

The Red 62 is called Thumper because of the 3 inch flowmaster exhaust the previous owner put on it. I have talked repeatedly over the last 13 years about replacing it but the wife has balked at the idea of replacing a 'perfectly good exhaust system'.

The White 62 has been called a few names. The previous owner called her 'The Survivor' which is ok. I've been calling her 'Whitey' but the wife cringes when I say that. She calls it the 'Pearl of Great Value' because I have always wanted an original, low mile car. I'm sure she calls both of them other names when I am not in earshot.

My daughters named our '69 "Ali".

Early on in owning this car, I was explaining what a survivor car is, and referenced the alligator pattern in the original landau material.

They latched onto calling her "Ali" right away.

For Christmas they gave me a small stuffed animal alligator and I have zip tied it to the rear deck in the rear window.

when I first bought our 57 I name her Marilyn after Miss Monroe because she looks so nice, wife on the other hand calls her Jezebel because she stole her husband and is taking all the money as well.

Not a Thunderbird, but close...
My daughter bought a 1984 Mustang convertible right after she graduated from high school (1992) and drove it all through college.
She named it "Mister Lee". The license plate was ### BBT. She thought "Babettes". They had a hit record...the song "Mister Lee".
I'm very proud of her!
