Ever since our grandson was 3 (he's now 6) the bronze 2005 is now known as "Evan's brown car".
His thinking is, "it's little, I'm little, that car must be mine!"
He tells me I have to ask his permission to drive it.

Silversurfer66; Nice monotone colour.
You refer to it as a California Special, never knew one existed, can you give ROT info or other documentation.
Would assume it is a Cali car by the DSO number, so a closed pcv system.

I bought my 1966 Town Landau in 1974. When I bought a 1960 HT SR in 1987, I had to differenciate the two, so I called the first one Valentine and the other Fanfreluche (French name reminding us of a children's TV program). So we still have the 1966 and are enjoying it as if it were new!

I have brought the "Beast" to a much more civil state since I posted its name the "Beast" Sept. 2018 and deservedly so.
I will no longer called it the Beast, the engine runs, no bent rods or stuck valves, a whole lot of rust prevention, the interior is updated, the trunk lid, engine hood and door jams, are showroom. New name: "Dreamin".

My husband's name is Linus, and he's always wanted to have a classic and name it Lucy after the Peanuts show.
