Hi Tbirders, I teach HS automechanics and we (auto club) bought a 1967 Tbird that we are restoring to donate to the school as a homecoming/parade/class reunion car since we are now the "Thunderbirds". Even the right color teal. Anyway we bought it with the engine out and in pieces. We are installing it this week but have realized there is no thin plate between the engine and C6 trans. just a lower inspection plate. Is there no plate between the engine and trans like alot of other fords?
Thank you for any help.

your 67 should have the separator plate, it locates the starter too. Have fun with the project
It's gonna be cool when it's done

What is the purpose of the plate? It is fully assembled and we just dropped it back in the engine bay without it.
