I'm new to the forum...or at least a recent addition and have a new 1971 Thunderbird Landau on the way. I haven't seen the car in person yet but hope to in the near future. I'm located in Morgan Hill California. My interests include Sunbeams, Hillmans, Desotos and other cars but have always liked Thunderbirds.
The car I'm getting was a 1 owner car owned by a lady in Arizona. She is now 93 years old and no longer drives. The car is Burgundy Fire with a red interior. Car has original paint and interior. The drivers seat will need some work as it has some tears. Needs a few items like the woodgrained piece that goes on the steering wheel.
It's got 90k miles and is reported to run well. Options include the Special Brougham interior, Convenience Group, Appearance Group, Deluxe belts and warning lights, power windows, power seat power trunk release, Dual rear speakers, tilt steering wheel, tinted glass, rear window defogger, a/c, and a few other options. I'm going to see if I can find an original radio with the 8 track. Looking forward to learning all I can about the car.
