I have a 66 Thunderbird with the Autolite 4100 carb. I am restoring the throttle linkage to its original specifications. The anti-stall dash pot that
is on it is not the correct one and therefore is not doing what it is meant to do and the linkage had been bastardized to make it work. I have purchased a universal dash pot from Thunderbird HQ and I need to cut the plunger shaft to the correct length. Could someone supply me the dimension on the length of the plunger shaft from the tip to the recess on the shaft that the spring sits in ?
