To add to this post.
I found another discussion, if you go back 5 pages, and look at a post by "privateer" titled, A-ARM play on upper arm. It has an attachment which shows another possible failure point and really is a good look a our cars.
I recommend a look at.

It may be the front sway bar, they were installed factory, without grease fittings.
