Usually Alan will add, didn't so I will, if you have not done so already you should buy from the VTCI Country Store the 'Original Factory Specifications' booklet. TONS of information which you will find useful. For example, you are looking for the manufacturing date but, depending on the part you are replacing you may need to know the manufacture 'date' of a part. Do you know the 390 you have is original to the car? Power Steering pump, master cylinder? etc. That helpful information is all in the booklet. Have fun with your car.

I saw a Mass. title for a '66 on ebay today that had the Z replaced with a 2. I wondered if it was a phone problem and they misheard the Q or a visual problem and they misread it as a 2. Gotta be careful with those titles. I've been having issues with that myself because of previous mistakes.

In the case of the Mass. car the 2 would be an error. It should be a Z. People read it wrong frequently. It would be a 390 car. People seldom screw up on the Q for the 428.

Hi all,
I’m new here. I have a 1964 convertible and my top will close but will not open. Any suggestions. Thanks for your time.

You should create a new post for your question. It probably won't be seen in this thread.
