Does anyone here know who owns 2Y89Z161769? I have the owners manual for this car and would like to get it to the owner. Last known to be in NY.

Did you check with the Thunderbird Registry, John Rotella's site. That is a start. It is possible the car no longer exists. John can perhaps confirm it's existance/or death.
Do to privacy issues, you may hit a dead end, as it is illegal for someone to handout others information without prior approval. (At least in CAD, that is).

Yes, the car is in the registry. I work with John pretty closely.
As of 2017 it was owned by Jim Buress, sent an e-mail no response as of yet.
