62 Vacuum can pipes

Post by Hadders »

Hi can any one tell me what and where the two canister vacuum pipes go? One is larger than the other so presume the larger may go to the manifold?? There is the remains of a small pipe emerging out of the bulkhead left top corner above the heater core.
I’ve a power brake and aircon model if that makes a difference? Thanks in advance.

The larger diameter nipple is served by the “T” on the right side of the intake manifold. The smaller nipple is the supply for the heater/AC controls. The Osborn Electrical Assembly Manual has detailed drawings of the hose routing, including the inline vacuum check valve located in the larger hose. There are also many photos of the vacuum setup on various pages on my website.
