Post by 04TBSteve » Sun Jul 21, 2013 1:09 pm

Wondering how the NC Regional in Springfield, Illinois went, how many T-Birds attended and what years, and how the weather was? Anybody care to update us all?

There where around 60 plus cars can not give you a exact count of what was there redstange and myself where to busy judging and getting fried by the sun on the concrete lot to keep count. Someone who has the paperwork may happen by that could give you the count or it will be in the Scoop at a later date.

Regional Convention in Illinois

Post by 04TBSteve » Tue Jul 23, 2013 1:11 pm

Wow! I think that that is more cars than were at the National convention in Charleston last September!? We had roughly 15 retro 'Birds at that one....we have an '04 Pacific Coast Roadster. Hopefully someone else who was there this year will be able to supply more info about the meet?

Yes there were over 60 cars, and it was sunny  and Cheryl told me to put on my sunblock... and I didn't put enough on... so i got burned  We were in need of 6 more judges to make another team, I think we were out there around 5 hours total. Everything went great, Terry and Dusty kept things humming, and the accommodations were excellent.
