I think the event is well on its way. Know some who are going, including myself. The party mind is all ready in motion. The count down clock is ticking.
Any more wanting to board the ride, better "git er done "

OK, I am home some time. After Nats in Kansas, they are now a memory. Sorry to say, I got so entangles with networking to find answers to restoring my car, and meeting old and new friends, my camera did not take a lot of pictures. I, along with others, had a wonderful time, between talking and judging. DOES ANY ONE got something to post?
With many cars on the field; Concource to Drivers, there was a lot to see.
The Kansas group need a well needed pat on the back. Starting with the show field runners (who made Paul P happy to get results, to count); to the Judges who par-baked in the humid sun levels (but never complained: if they did; I never heard it)
It was fun all around.
Hell (sorry heck) I even had to buy a beer for a guy I know. He even reminded me about it, (never did forget, just kinda teased him, over it.)
All in all a good gig.
Send those photos in, justify my trip to my wife. PLEASE

Live long and prosper. RAVEN

Maybe we'll have to wait until the pictures show up in the Scoop.

Raven, thanks for the beer!
Check the VTCI facebook page. I think Terri posts pictures there fairly often.
Otherwise, I'll see if I can remember how to use photobucket again...it has been awhile (4 years?)

Not sure if Terri OR Bob got many pics, as Terri was nursing a bad hip, plus I was checking out the field and Alan was busy getting the roadster and doing his sourcing networking on the info highway.
Kind of looks we ALL missed the boat on obtaining photos. Hope someone can prove me wrong, and please do!

I checked, there are quite a few pictures on VTCI's facebook page.
I think Cliff L. and Greg D. took quite a few pictures.
I'll try to remember to call them.

Sorry all that are looking for photos... I have many from the host club but between many doctor appointments and moving to a new place I have gotten buried, there will be more photos soon.

Back problems forgiven, I got to prove to my dear wife I was there.
Glad they are posted, and are very happy to see. Even down to the Mill's puppy dog. If I was a single guy, it would be a great CHICK magnet. Jim; better watch out, YOU can be replaced by a young BUCK. There were many next door in the other banquet room at the Wedding.
Who was there, had a great time.

Thanks Terri for the update.

Time to start a new thread.

Georgia 2017 here we come!!!!!!

Dale; the pressure is on. See you all next year

OK, if any or everyone has followed this thread, the Nats are an event which bring the masses together for fun and an education of local activities. I plan on attending, with car or not (if its ready, it will be there). A CAR is not necessary, to enjoy the group activities. I have come to realize that the North East area is a weak area for events; so by attending this National, it is a start to strengthen that area. I see that the planning committee, are setting up a schedule of activities to keep us all entertained, and the list will grow as time moves forward. Any one in the North East, should renew their interest, and I challenge them to attend. If Club members can come from the west coast, why not from the North East, its in our back yard.
Plan on attending the Atlanta Nationals, its only about six months away!
