Seniority or is it old age

Post by RAVEN » Sat Jun 07, 2014 1:53 pm

Been around for a little while. Even had my Landau pictured in the Sept/Oct 1978 Scoop. Back in the day when there was both a Scoop and a Newsletter; or 12 publications a year! Back then I was a member of the Square Bird Society

Boy Raven, you really are an "old" guy! Well preserved I didn't peg you for a day over 84! (just kidding)

Age

Some days I feel older. But I was a young pup back then and fell in love with my dad s car and its styling. Lucky for me he let me have it.

I'm looking at attending the International as well, not sure that my bird will be roadworthy, either way I'm planning to be there.

Ian, you are just about as old as me, and we have been around for awhile. Whats it now; about 30 odd years, and you call me a fossil!

That's great to hear John; given that many of our local club members are used to travelling to Kelowna at that time of year I expect to see a large contingent from Edmonton there!
Currently Birdless....we'll see how long that lasts!

This may surprise you Bob, but we have jets in Canada now!

I'm booking my room today. See you in the lounge, I'll be the one parked behind the bottle of Captain Morgan's!

Ok, you know what i mean (don't you?) There's a few choices on flights from Detroit, most involve a short hop in a 50 passenger prop jet from Calgary (de Havilland Canada Dash 8). Cheryl doesn't like flying anyway, and prop planes are out, so I'm on my own. I booked my room Wednesday, now i have to send in my registration. Leaving early Sunday so I can't do the ranch event. Have you tried Crown Royal Regal Apple? I'll treat :drinking:
