Stock Wheel/Suspension Dimensions 1958-1966

This post is to establish baseline reference dimensions critical for mounting non-original wheels/tires on 1958-1966 T-birds. The following dimensions are needed to begin "filling in the blanks." Additional dimensions for wheel well clearances will be added when obtained or provided.

1958-1960
Distance between wheel mounting faces/face of drum-to-face of drum
Front (wheels pointed forward)
Rear (i.e. overall axle width at face of drum)
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to wheel opening inner lip
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to fender skirt inner lip

1961-1963
Distance between wheel mounting faces/face of drum-to-face of drum
Front (wheels pointed forward)
Rear (i.e. overall axle width at face of drum)
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to wheel opening inner lip
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to fender skirt inner lip

1964
Distance between wheel mounting faces/face of drum-to-face of drum
Front (wheels pointed forward)
Rear (i.e. overall axle width at face of drum)
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to wheel opening inner lip
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to fender skirt inner lip

1965-1966
Distance between wheel mounting faces/face of drum-to-face of drum
Front (wheels pointed forward)
Rear (i.e. overall axle width at face of drum)
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to wheel opening inner lip
Distance from face of rear axle brake drum to fender skirt inner lip
