1957 Hardtop

Post by gt5-33 »

I'm restoring the subject hardtop. Will be replacing all of the rubber weather strip seals. My question is what brand sealer should I use, if any? Thanks

I had replaced the long lower back rubber sealer gasket # 50336 I bought from Concours parts catalog 1800 722 0009. I'm sure these are all made by the same mfg, We encourage our members to buy from the vendors that support VTCI .

I redid my hard Top on my 57 and CASCO has all the seals you I needed. Also replaced all the seals on the soft top. Worth the cost to buy as a set.
Fun job, are you repainting?

Yes I'm repainting the hard top and the whole car. Been working on it for the past 13 months. It has been an experience to say the least.
